Data practices

Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information handled by ToolMany, the data some features keep in your browser, and the optional third-party services used by the site. Many file operations run locally, but tracking, external libraries, and fonts can make separate network requests. Review the relevant tool page before processing sensitive material. Start from the tool directory or read the sections below to learn how to manage browser storage and optional tracking.

1. File processing depends on the tool

ACTIVE

Many converters and editors read selected files in browser memory and generate results on the device. Processing is not identical across every feature, so read the specific tool page before opening confidential material. The website and some tools load code, fonts, or rendering libraries from external providers. Optional analytics and advertising services are described below.

2. Browser storage and saved drafts

ACTIVE

ToolMany uses browser localStorage for settings and app features. This includes theme, favorite and recent tools, download-history metadata, install-prompt dismissal, blog votes, and cookie choice. Invoice and bill-form tools may save document drafts locally. Local storage can remain after a tab closes; clear this site's browser storage to remove it. Do not use a shared browser profile for confidential work.

3. Optional analytics and advertising

ACTIVE

Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and Meta Pixel are optional third-party services. Their scripts are not included in the initial HTML and are loaded after you choose Accept optional. Reject optional stores that choice and prevents the app from loading these scripts on subsequent visits in this browser. Third parties may process device, browser, page, and interaction information under their own terms and privacy policies. Use Cookie Settings in the footer to reopen the choice. Rejecting does not remove cookies or data those providers may have already stored.

4. External libraries, fonts, and hosting requests

ACTIVE

Some pages request resources from external providers, including PDF.js from a CDN and font files from Google Fonts. The app's service worker caches the application shell and same-origin static assets for repeat visits; it does not intentionally cache selected user documents. Hosting providers may process ordinary connection and security logs when pages and assets are requested.

5. Contact messages

DETAIL

The contact form builds a message and opens your default email application. The page does not submit a web form to a ToolMany server or create a support ticket. If you choose to send the email, your email provider and the recipient mailbox process and retain it. Include only information needed to answer your request, and do not attach sensitive files unless an approved secure channel is provided.

6. Downloads and retention choices

DETAIL

Exports are downloaded through your browser and are subject to its download folder, backup, and device settings. ToolMany's local history stores filenames, tool names, sizes, timestamps, and temporary blob URL strings; it does not store a reusable copy of the exported file in localStorage. Clear the history in the app or remove this site's browser storage to delete that metadata. Delete downloaded files separately from your device.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are files processed by ToolMany tools?

Many file transformations run in the browser, but behavior varies by tool. Some pages load external libraries, fonts, analytics, or advertising services. Check the individual tool description before using sensitive material.

What information is stored in my browser?

The app stores preferences and features such as theme, favorites, recent tools, download-history metadata, consent choice, and some document drafts in browser local storage. This can persist after the tab closes until you clear browser data or remove it in the relevant tool.

Does ToolMany load analytics or advertising?

Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and Meta Pixel are optional services. Their scripts are loaded only after you accept optional tracking. Rejecting keeps those scripts from loading on that visit. Use Cookie Settings in the footer to change your choice.

Does the contact form send a message to ToolMany?

The contact form opens a prefilled draft in your email application. You must review and send that email yourself; the website does not confirm or store a support ticket.

This policy applies to the ToolMany website and its browser tools. It is a description of current site behavior, not a guarantee that every tool has identical data flows. Last reviewed: October 6, 2026. See also our Terms & Conditions or contact us with any privacy questions.
