ToolMany
Our Mission

Tools for everyday work,
with clear tradeoffs.

ToolMany brings practical PDF, image, and document utilities into one browser-based catalog. Each tool explains its workflow and limitations.

Get in Touch

Local where supported

Many tools process selected files in browser memory. Check individual tool notes for network dependencies and exceptions.

Know the tradeoffs

File size, device memory, render scale, and browser support affect results. Guides explain what to verify before sharing.

Useful in a browser

No desktop installation is needed for ordinary tasks. Some tools require an internet connection to load libraries or fonts.

The Vision

Choose the right workflow for the task.

Many common file tasks can run through browser APIs without sending the selected file to a processing server. Other features may depend on external libraries, fonts, or online services. ToolMany describes these differences instead of treating every tool as if it had the same data flow.

Your browser and device still matter. Large files can take longer, some rendering libraries load from a CDN, and optional analytics or advertising are controlled through the consent choice. Review the tool page and Privacy Policy before choosing how to handle sensitive material.

We aim to make the task, output, and limitations easy to understand. Read the Privacy Policy.

The Tech Blueprint

28 utilities, one sandbox.

Underneath the interface, ToolMany's ecosystem of browser-centric utilities leans on WebAssembly to compile performance-critical routines, like image compression and PDF byte manipulation, into near-native execution speed without ever touching a backend.

For visual work, we rely on the Canvas rendering context to execute photorealistic mockups directly in memory, pixel by pixel, frame by frame, so what you preview is exactly what gets exported.

And because every operation is self-contained, we skip traditional account credential storage entirely. There are no passwords to leak and no session tokens tied to your files, because the system was never designed to remember you in the first place.

Built differently for a reason.

Traditional web tools upload your data to a server, risking your privacy. ToolMany is different. We act as a local sandbox, ensuring your creative work remains yours alone. See our terms of use for details.
